Chuck expresses his creativity in many ways. As mentioned on the home page, he enjoys making DVD movies from still photographs (and an occasional short movie clip) combined with his favorite music. He started by creating these shows for friends and family and soon the word spread to friends of friends and a small business was born.

If you are interested in a custom designed program for your next special occasion, review the pricing schedule and and other details available on this web site. If you want to pursue your own project, contact Chuck for a brief consultation. Sample products are available for your review during the consultation. These DVDs are memorable keepsakes the recipiant will treasure for years to come.

Chuck also does a little creative writing. He was published in his departmental newsletter a few years ago in an article entitled "My Dog, Max."

A poem for Reneé entitled "The Beds in Which We've Slept" (Christmas, 2002) was written for his beautiful bride of 19 years (now 25 and counting) but many of the references in this rambling poem will be lost on the casual reader. To close family and friends, the poem has inspired a tear or two. The poem follows path Chuck and Reneé traveled from the borrowed bed in their first one-bedroom apartment to the brand-new ($300?) waterbed (and matching side pieces!) they bought a year or two into the marriage and then proceeded to drag around the country during the next two decades of their marriage. As you can guess, one member of this union really wanted to move beyond the "waterbed years" and the other one did not.

Reneé has been published many times in many settings. She wrotes articles for each issue of the Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment newsletter when she was the Executive Director of that organization and often wrote articles for other periodicals. She authored manuscripts for an academic audience during her years on the faculty at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and while a graduate student at Saint Louis University.

On this web site, we publish some of Reneé's more interesting pieces that might not be available online today in other places. We will also share some original pieces that have not been published before.

The current pieces Reneé would like to share are "Sneezing Lessons," "Ordinary Days," and "Note to Self."

Enjoy!
